The largest audience ever ! From  July 4 to 20. Miles Davis is again on top of the program with the same musicians as last year except Vincent Wilburn replacing Al Foster on drums. Amazing concert ! Leonard Cohen and his 5 musicians perform July 9 and Nina Hagen surprises. Kid Creole and the Coconuts bewitch the audience and Airto Moreira and Flora Purim diffuse brazilian Jazz music. Blues Rock is not missing this year with Rory Gallagher and his Band. Music from everywhere with Keith Jarrett trio (Gary Peacock and Jack DeJohnette) Manu Dibango, Horace Silver, Astor Piazzolla, Mark Isham, the Indian Shankar with Jan Garbarek, Trilok Gurtu and Nana Vasconcelos, Bob James, Lee Ritenour, Joao Gilberto and Tom Jobim play brasilian music and Stevie Ray Vaughan assumes the Blues evening with Johnny Otis and his son Shuggie (by the way ….an excellent guitarist !)
